Prevention and Care for Children’s Dental Health

Preventive care is the foundation of healthy teeth and proper oral development, especially in children. Unfortunately, baby teeth are often underestimated due to the misconception that they are not important because they will eventually fall out. On the contrary – baby teeth play a crucial role in the proper development of the jaws, speech, and chewing function, as well as in preserving space for permanent teeth.

Healthy teeth are essential for a child’s everyday well-being. A child with painful or damaged teeth may have difficulty eating, chew less effectively, and often develop fear of dental treatment. In addition to the health aspect, aesthetics are also important, as they can influence a child’s self-confidence and psychological development during growing up.

For this reason, we place special emphasis on prevention and on creating a positive relationship between children and dental care. Our goal is for every child to experience the dental office as a pleasant and safe place, free from stress and unpleasant experiences.

Regular Check-Ups and Early Education

Regular dental check-ups make it possible to detect early changes in time and prevent the development of more serious problems. Children should be introduced to the dentist from an early age, even when no treatment is needed, so they can gradually become familiar with the environment and develop a sense of trust and security.

We also educate both parents and children about proper oral hygiene, the importance of regular tooth brushing, and healthy dietary habits that significantly affect dental health.

Preventive Program for Children

In order to further encourage oral health care for the whole family, our dental office offers a special preventive program for children.

For every dental treatment performed for a parent, a child up to 12 years of age is entitled to one free dental treatment, regardless of the type of procedure – based on a “one for one” principle.

In addition, we continue to provide regular check-up appointments free of charge:

* for adults – twice a year
* for children – four times a year

We believe that proper prevention and regular dental care can prevent many problems and help preserve a healthy and beautiful smile from an early age.
